The Return of Robin Sparkles!
I posted this over on my LJ, but figured I should share it with more than my Flist.
Believe it or not, not all my show pondering are shippy related! I know, it’s hard to believe. As such, I wish to share with you all my dream Robin Sparkles scenario:
We all know that Robin Sparkles was a Canadian teen pop sensation. You know who else was a Canadian teen pop sensation? Alanis Morissette.
So, it goes down like this: Alanis and Robin were rivals. This gets uncovered because Alanis and her band stop at MacLaren’s after a NYC gig. The biggest reveal though? “You Outta Know” was written about Simon (James Van Der Beek’s unforgettable character).
Would it be uncouth to request the highest of fives for this idea? Who cares! I’m doing it any way!
I never knew how much I wanted this until I read it. And “You Outta Know” being written about Simon is brilliant. This is now officially headcanon.
