30 Day TV Challenge - Day 13 - Best Verbal Fight: CJ Cregg & Josh Lyman from The West Wing
Wasn’t too hard to decide on using an Aaron Sorkin written verbal fight. The difficulty came in picking which fight. I went with this early one from The West Wing because the absurdity of it. CJ and Josh are highly intelligent, high-ranking government workers in the White House. And here they are getting into a name calling shouting match. To their credit, the name calling is sophisticated.

From the moment I started watching the show I was intrigued by this couple. After seven years, they went from mere sexual tension to levels of DEAR GOD, WILL YOU TWO JUST ADMIT YOU LOVE EACH OTHER, KISS, GET MARRIED, AND MAKE BABIES?! These two are the ones who started my interest in reading fanfic. From the beginning, it was clear they meant more to each other than the average boss & assistant (Not in a sleazy way. Though with all that tension, I wouldn’t deny them a quickie in Josh’s office.). And when one was in danger, the other wouldn’t stop for anything to get to that one’s side. Not even red lights.
